Day Fifty Two. Artsy Lampshade.
This is a lampshade at The Grand Traverse Pie Company (in Ann Arbor). The shade is nice enough, but I like how abstract this came out.

Day Forty Eight. ISR.
Another picture of my building, one side reflected in the other. The sculpture I am shooting (not much choice there) is called "Convergence", it's basically a 3D parallelogram and not one of the more exciting sculptures I've ever seen.

Day Forty Seven. Polaroid.
One of the few things I did last week was to make a trip down to our local resale/charity shop, where I found this lovely thing for a mere $3.00. Of course a single pack of film (10) runs $35.00, which is rather...expensive. I hear tell someone bought the Polaroid film factory and will start making the film again. In the meantime, there is always Poladroid.

Day Forty Six. The Eggs Have Landed.
You may have noticed that every picture from last week was from my house or yard. I didn't get out much. I also did not take a picture on Sunday. This is from Tuesday.
Day Forty Five. Red Grass.
I did not expect anything from this picture. I thought the texture on the wall would too overwhelming and the seed head too sparse, but I think it turned out really well. I did up the contrast a bit.
Day Forty Four. Foggy Morning.
There had been frost morning before I took this, so I took the camera out hoping for a nice frost picture. Instead we had fog, which was ok, too.
Day Forty One. Geese.
I've been wanting to get a good picture of migrating geese. I'm pleased with how this came out, though I did crop a bit and there was a big wire running across the upper left corner. The sky is monocromatic enough that erasing it was not a problem.
Day Forty. Horses.
When I was 9 or 10 I tried to be obsessed with horses. My best friend at the time was and it seemed like the normal way to be. It didn't take. These guys live next door and Lizzy is obsessed, I think they would be just as happy to step on her head.
Day Thirty Eight. Dough.
Lame, I know. This was supposed to be Oatmeal Bread, instead it was two bricks. The chickens loved it.
Day Thirty Seven. Law School.
I will be uploading last week's pictures throughout the day.
This must be the most photographed place in Ann Arbor. A lot of senior pictures get taken here.
Bonus picture.

Taking a break
I haven't taken today's picture yet, and I am taking next week off of work. Posting from the land of dial-up will be pretty much impossible. So I won't be posting pictures until November 16.
This is not today's picture.

Day Thirty Four. Bright Moon
The moon wasn't quite this bright last night, but in order for the glow and branches to show I had to bump up the exposure. I kind of like that it looks like the sun at midnight.

Day Thirty Three. Moon and Cranes
Technically, this is cheating, since I took this picture (and a whole bunch more, which can be seen here). However, I was also supposed to be at home vacuuming, not at a bird sanctuary taking a lot of terrible pictures (and a few decent ones), so I am counting this as today's picture.
